Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

I'm a writer, spending time at the computer compiling content for press releases and the Internet.

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

As a teenager. My interest was piqued by the covers on those old detective magazines.

How you best describe yourself and why? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.

Dominant. My partner(s) have always been the submissive (especially when they realized that the experience could intensify orgasms).

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)

It's both, though probably more physical for me (unless you would say the imagery qualifies as emotional).

Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?

Yes. It's something important to me and anyone I've had a lasting relationship with has accepted (and enjoyed) it as well.

Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.

As a kid playing Cowboys and Indians with a neighbor, but from a sexual standpoint in high school with an older girl who asked me to tie her up. I was pleasantly surprised at that.

What was your best bondage experience?

There have been several, but times when we've been outside in the woods (or even the back yard) have been the best.

What is the most creative safeword you have ever used?

Not very creative: yellow.

What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?

Enjoying the entire experience, whether a spur of the moment or planned. And above all making it sexually satisfying.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

Always be safe! And if your partner says stop, STOP.

What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from sub-shop.com and why?

A black harness with a crotch strap. It's similar to 1798a, but made of leather and has an additional strap around the waist (meant to also encircle the wrists) instead of the upper strap that goes over the shoulders. Apparently it's something Sub Shop no longer carries.

What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?

Having my partner tied as a secretary or office worker in her office chair, then watching her try to get to a phone. It's a scenario she often talks about and describes, but with the caveat that she won't actually do it. Perhaps some day! And there is one other - she often talks about wearing the harness (and nothing else except stockings and stilettos) under a long coat while walking on the Las Vegas Strip.
