Femdom Resources: What it Takes to Be a Dominatrix

Being a dominatrix a lot of fun…for both the submissive and the dominatrix, of course wink*. If you are just starting out in this wonderful world, you may be eager for some tips and that is why I’m here for today. Let’s get you started on some dominatrix 101:

• The first thing you need to handle is researching about it. Yes, it may sound boring, but if the subject interests you, you will have fun! This is not chemistry or history (unless you do enjoyed those subjects in school, and my apologies to you wink*) Besides, how will you know what to do if you’re not prepared? Once you have learned and discuss it with your partner, we can follow along.

• Come up with your new name. This means deciding how you want to be called…and I’m not talking about Mary or Susanna. Choose a title that conveys respect and encompasses the nature of this new role. It will be left at your discretion, but if you’re stumped and need inspiration, most women choose something like: Ma’am, Queen, Mistress, Goddess or Lady.
  

• An important part of this role will be how you’re dressed. If you are really into this, you will need to get some things and pieces that will reflect your role. Once again, this can mean whatever you feel fits you the best, but usually it involves latex or leather. Some thigh highs or sensual stockings, boots or heels, a corset, gloves, a short dress or a cat suit should make you feel like a dominatrix.

• Afterwards, you will need some equipment. You can begin with simpler things like a pair of cuffs, a dildo and lube. And most importantly, your weapon of choice: a whip or a crop?

• And like they say, attitude is key. You will need to be very confident and conduct yourself assertively. Be self-aware and don’t be afraid to speak loud and clear about what you want. Remember: a dominatrix is not born, it is made.
