Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

I am a cook. I am in the kitchen all day. It’s a tough job but someone’s got to do it.

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

About two years ago. I was in my first BDSM relationship where I was a submissive. My boyfriend was a dominant who enjoyed tying me up. He was also thrilled when he put me in a cage. He only freed me to have sex with me. I liked being a sub until I saw BDSM porn and felt excited when the woman was playing a dominant role. I told my then boyfriend I want to try being a dom for a change. He okayed that too, so I tied him up. I discovered I enjoyed being a dom the same way I got a thrill from being a sub.

I am a switch. I enjoy being a dom and a sub. I was a sub to specific partners but a dom to others.

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)

It’s physical and emotional. I am extremely turned on when I am following orders in a BDSM setting, but also like the feeling when power is transferred to me. I discovered that different dynamics apply to different partners. It actually depends on who I am with.

Lovers who were also into switching accepted my interest in bondage. But those who were not into the BDSM lifestyle were a tad judgmental. I let them be. I didn’t have plans to convert them unless they were keenly interested or at least open to understand what BDSM was all about.

Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.

When I dated a dominant, we attended a BDSM workshop. We were required to take turns slapping each other. I didn’t feel comfortable slapping him, but I was thrilled when it was his turn to slap me. There was also a rope tying lesson, so my dom boyfriend tied my hands and feet. I loved it so much I wanted that session to last more than it should. When that relationship ended and I hooked up with a sub partner, I realized that I could switch to become a dom. I also enjoyed restricting my sub partners.

What was your best bondage experience?

I was in a threesome with my dom boyfriend and another sub. I was made to wear bondage mittens so I couldn’t touch him. Another sub was restricted by cuffs. My dom took his time savouring each of us. Imagine how much time we had to wait for him to finish one of us before playing with the other. The wait was exciting. The pleasure was incredible.

What is the most creative safe word you have ever used?

Sandwich. It also doubles as a code for “I’m hungry”, sometimes.

What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?

Pleasure should be a two-way street. The sub and the dom must feel pleasure. The experience should be pleasantly exciting for both.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

Always be aware of what your sub is doing the same way you must be aware of your dom. Giving pleasure is as important as receiving it. The best orgasm is when both are attuned to each other. Know your dom’s likes. Doms should know a sub’s preference. It’s not rocket science.

What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?

I haven’t tried the posture training collar. It’s more a curiosity for me than anything else. I want to see if it would turn me on the same way the other products did. The site recommends a gag too. I am open to that and I can’t wait how both would feel once worn.
