Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

I’m an elementary science teacher. I enjoy getting up early in the morning and teaching kids.

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

I came into bondage belatedly. I was already married and didn’t realize I was already being a sub when I liked the feeling whenever my husband told me what I should do to please him. Whenever I did please him, I feel proud and get oh so wet when he tells me “Well done”. I also liked when he restricted my movements using cuffs. My husband makes sure I’m restrained but not hurt, which makes me love him even more. When he told me to try being a dom, I had to follow. I was surprised when I took to it like fish to water. It was my turn to limit his movements and order him to obey me. I loved it!

I am a female switch. I thought I was happy being a sub. But when I opened myself to the possibility of being a dom, a new world of pleasure opened up. It helped that my husband is supportive and is always pushing me beyond my perceived limitations.

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)

Emotional. I feel more aroused when my husband is pleased with me pleasing him. I’m more a sub than a dom, but I like the feeling of tying my husband and teasing him, while denying him of ever touching me. It all comes down to what makes me feel all fuzzy inside. I’m a sub most days, but a dom in some.

Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?

I was never into bondage before my marriage. You could say I was a vanilla through and through. It was my husband that introduced me to everything about subs and doms, and eventually switches.

Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.

It was a year into being married. My husband wanted to spice things up in the bedroom. He brought in cuffs and blindfolds. He asked if I wanted to try these out. I said yes. He cuffed and blindfolded me. I was a bit scared because I didn’t know what was happening, but I was also thrilled. I was hooked since.

What was your best bondage experience?

My husband bought a door banger wrist and ankle spread set. It was my first time to do it standing up. Feeling helpless and placing my self under my husband’s control was so arousing. Later, the tables were turned and I tied him to the door banger. I have to admit though, I liked it when I was tied up by my husband more than when I tied him up.

What is the most creative safe word you have ever used?

Orange. Is that creative? I chose it because my favorite color is orange.

What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?

It’s consensual. I’m not sure those who are not into this lifestyle understand that both sub and dom have a dynamic that involves mutual care. All they see is the kink and the infliction of pain. They should know that not all subs and doms are into giving or receiving pain. If they are, it’s the kind of pain the sub can handle. But if the sub doesn’t like to do what the dom wants, doms are responsible for keeping his or her sub taken cared of.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

Make sure you know what you’re getting into. BDSM isn’t for everyone. Your dom must be responsible for making you feel protected. You also need to be aware of how much you like what you’re doing, and which are the things you dislike. Being a sub is no reason to accept everything blindly. Being a dom does not give anyone a ticket to do anything they want. BDSM should be fun for you and your partner.

What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from sub-shop.com and why?

The dildo panties! I didn’t know there were such a thing until I saw them on sub-shop. It’s my opportunity to wear the pants in the house – and thrust my husband too. It’s one of the rare opportunities I can feel how it is to be a man, sort of.

What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?
