Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you be describe your everyday vanilla life?
I’m your average geek who has managed to blend in with the general population. I’m a computer tech, Star Wars nut, author, veteran, and a barista at Starbucks. I’m also a crossdresser who does her best to look and act like your average woman and not be seen as a man in a dress.
When did you first realize you were into bondage?
I had an interest early on in my life. I played tied up games with a friend and would tie my legs together and gag myself with the belt of my robe at night.
How you best describe yourself and why? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.
Definitely submissive.
Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)
I think for me it’s an even split of both. My emotions are very tied to what goes on around me and to me. The sensation of being tied up and gagged is physically one of the greatest things I can experience, and the emotional subspace that I go into and the desire just to mentally get away from it all is very much a part of being tied up and gagged.
Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.
I was visiting a friend who knew I wanted to experience being tied up. I asked to be tied up for 30 minutes, so he hogtied me and gagged me with a bandana. He watched a TV show and then did some computer work, so 30 minutes turned to 60 because he could tell I was doing just fine. I didn’t want to be let free when he undid me, though, but meeting his girlfriend for the first time would’ve been awkward if I had been still tied up and gagged.
What was your best bondage experience?
It was at a play party following a class on how to tie people with rope. I had been a rope bunny all day getting partially tied up and then untied as others practiced. The instructor initially tied me in a ball tie and then eventually switched me to a hogtie. I had a harness ball gag in the whole time, and being in my sundress was particularly sexy with the rope and gag. (see pictures)
What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?
What’s most important is knowing what you love, like, and your limits. Without those, bondage won’t be fun and can be unsafe.
What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?
Find like-minded people. Get to know them in vanilla settings like munches and coffee outings and whatnot. Don’t just randomly trust someone because you want to try something. Safe, consensual, and sane.
What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from sub-shop.com and why?
Any gag with a ball attached to it. I love the feel of a ball in my mouth. Sometimes, it’s just a simple ball gag, and sometimes it can be one of the muzzle ball gag harnesses. It depends on my mood, really.
What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?
I so want to do suspension bondage in my ball gown. The seven layers of skirt between petticoat and gown would look amazing in suspension bondage.
