Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

I’m an athlete and enjoy being outdoors. I am married, and we have two dogs and a cat. We enjoy watching tv and movies together. My favorite food is BBQ and chips w/ salsa.

I am a submissive. I prefer to make others happy over my own happiness, I enjoy serving others. I have always been a giver, whether it be an ear to listen or taking care of their needs.

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

My first experiences with bondage were when my ex-girlfriend used her handcuffs from work on me and cuffed me to her bed. I felt exhilaration from giving up control and being vulnerable to whatever she wanted to do. From there, it just took off.

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)

For me, bondage is a way for me to escape from life and emotions. When I am in bondage, I feel free from stress, worries, free from having to make decisions, and focused. I have nothing to distract me from listening and obeying the commands given to me or the events that are taking place.

What does BDSM mean to you: is it a lifestyle, a diversion, or something else?

I would LOVE for it to be a full-time lifestyle, but currently it is just a diversion, playtime situation for my wife and I. She is new to the BDSM stuff and is not wanting a 24/7 lifestyle right now.

What was your best bondage experience?

My best bondage experience was when I was serving as a houseboy for a gay couple. They put me into a stockade on all fours and relentlessly teased me in ways that I have not experienced again. They got me into the deepest sub-space I have ever been. They introduced me to a lot of the things I am into now and opened my curiosity for things I have yet to try.

Which part of your body do you consider the most sexy?

My ass because I am an athlete and runner, so everyone tells me it’s nice.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

Take it slow, do your research, talk it out with the person you are playing with. Build that trust and communication so that you guys understand each other and what the limits are, what you are wanting from the experience, and most of all, be safe.

What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from Sub-Shop.com and why?

This is a tough question, my wife and I have bought a ton of gear from you guys. My personal favorite is the sleepsack. I love the fact that I can give up all control, be zipped into a full bodysack with a hood, unable to see and just let go of everything to focus on what is happening to my body.
