Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

My everyday life is very vanilla.  I work in admissions for an online school.  My wife and I have an average home on an average street. He considers bondage as part of his lifestyle now.

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

I first realized I was into bondage in college. A girl I met at a party unbuttoned my shirt, slid it off my shoulders but the cuffs were still buttoned so my arms were restrained at my sides.  That got me very interested in trying some new experiences.

How you best describe yourself? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn. Please explain your choice.

My job is sales oriented, so I am somewhat aggressive during the day. At night I like to hand the keys to someone else (literally). It's fun not knowing what is planned for me.

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)

Bondage is most definitely physically arousing, but the trust and intimacy that it has built for us is what makes me crave it more.

What does BDSM mean to you: is it a lifestyle, a diversion, or something else?

It is certainly part of our lifestyle now.

What was your best bondage experience?

Our best bondage experience is the chastity cage. My wife loves jingling the key. The only thing better than anticipating the release is waiting for the next lockup. When she is teasing me, and the cage keeps getting tighter, the rest of the world disappears. We have been working up to longer sessions, and it keeps getting better.  We agreed that the phrase "think about it," would be our secret code. It's a subtle way for her to tease me in public. It comes up in a lot of conversations (pun intended).

What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?

The most important thing is trust. You and your partner should be into it for the same reasons.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

The best advice I have is to take it slow. If you try to do too much in the beginning it could ruin the experience if you are not ready.

What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from Sub-Shop.com and why?

My favorite item is my chastity cage. The one I normally wear for extended periods is steel. It's heavy enough that I can't forget it's there. It's open enough for hygiene and some awesome teasing, but it keeps everything restrained and aching to get out.
