Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

I am a male university student. In my free time (when I'm not tied up), I like being outdoors, exercising and spending time with family.

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

Approximately during my junior year of high school. I just stumbled upon some stuff on the internet (like most people) and my interest grew from there!

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional?

I thought about this one for a while, but I'm going to have to go with emotional. While I do love the feeling of being in bondage, it's more the submissive feeling that I enjoy most. There's something extra exciting to me about being under somebody's control.

What does BDSM mean to you: is it a lifestyle, a diversion, or something else?

I think it's a great way to explore sides of my personality that otherwise wouldn't be exposed. I can definitely say that experiences I've had in BDSM have helped me in my everyday vanilla life, so it all ties together eventually (pun intended). Plus, bondage is just flat-out fun.

Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?

Generally yes, but I don't think it's a good idea to push it on anyone and I never really have.

Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.

I tied myself to my bed using a bunch of household items, including some spare pieces of rope, exercise equipment and duct tape for over an hour. Still nothing can quite match the first time!

What was your best bondage experience?

My best bondage experience was a lot like my first - I was tied up tight with rope on my legs and my arms, then ear plugged and hooded, before I got a posture collar, blindfold and a big ball gag trainer. I was left like this for a couple hours, and it was easily some of the most fun I've ever had.

What is the most creative safe word you have ever used?

Hm, I don't know...eggplant?

What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?

I feel that having fun is most important with bondage. If you really don't like what you're doing or being told to do, then I think that can ruin it a bit. Of course, being ordered around is part of the fun so it pays to be flexible as well.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

Be willing to explore different things. Lots of people seem to have very specific fetishes at first, but over time more things may become appealing if you allow yourself to be open to them. Trust me, it's worth letting your guard down for!

What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from sub-shop.com and why?

I love my 2" Slave's Choice ball gag trainer. It really muffles the sound and fills up my mouth - and it looks pretty darn good too!

What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?

I'd like to do a multi-day bondage scenario, within the realm of safety of course. I don't really have any details beyond that, but I'm sure someone can come up with something ;).
