Meet Sir & Darling

Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

Sir: I design protection schemes for high voltage substations by day, and am a gamer by night. I enjoy fishing, SCUBA diving, and going on adventures with my Darling on the weekends. Just your average nerdy gamer guy who loves being in or on water.

Darling: I work part-time as a waitress. I enjoy working out, playing videogames, reading and drawing in my spare time. I'm engaged to my partner, whom I will refer to as 'Sir'. He makes me very happy and I enjoy spending time with him and going on adventures together! : )

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

Sir: This probably dates back to when I was growing up. I always enjoyed the damsel in distress situations, but never understood why until around 18 years old (maybe a little before haha)

Darling: When I was 12 years old, I was very drawn to imagery of people bound-by chains, ropes, tape, or cloth.

How do you best describe yourself and why? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.

Sir: I would be classified as a switch but I lean incredibly more towards the dominant side; I enjoy being in control of what's going on. Even when I'm being the submissive one in the experience, I try and tell Darling what to do.

Darling: There are times when I crave dominance but I am definitely more submissive than anything.

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)

Sir: This is actually pretty hard for me to answer but I will give it a shot. For me it's definitely both, the physical desire to dominate and control, mixed with the emotional desire to hold tightly and protect. I enjoy more extended bondage sessions, such as locking Darling into chastity for a few hours and taunting her the entire time. Sometimes going out with it under her clothes. I guess that would mean that my emotional desire leads into my physical desire.

Darling: A mix of both, I suppose. I feel very relaxed when I'm tied up with rope, or restrained. My body enjoys being held and contained. I am someone who suffers from anxiety often, but when I'm bound I feel very safe and secure. Emotionally, I enjoy the bond that I am able to share with my partner, and the amount of trust that we have for each other gives me an amazing sense of fulfillment.
In my vanilla life, I am a very strong-willed and independent person. I am a leaderly type and tend to always be in charge, so I find the idea of being domineered by someone else very hot.

Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?

Sir: I've only ever had one partner that I was serious enough with to try things with, and yes, Darling is very accepting.

Darling: Sir and I bonded very quickly over conversations pertaining to bondage and it made me very happy that he was interested in similar levels that I was.
I haven't had many lovers, but if the topic ever comes up in conversation, 9 out of 10 times people are curious and grow more and more accepting and interested the more I talk about how great it can be.

Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.

Sir: First bondage experience... would probably be when Darling had my hands tied to the bed frame with some cotton belts I had at the time. She then blindfolded me, and we can kind of assume what happened from there...

Darling: I tied Sir to his bed with some of his cloth belts and blindfolded him with a silk sash!

What was your best bondage experience?

Sir: This question is also pretty hard to answer because I really enjoy all of them (and they are incredibly common in the relationship, it's what we do). But the best of the best is probably when her arms were bound behind her back, legs tied together, gagged, blindfolded, ears covered with headphones filled with static (white noise), Hitachi vibrator positioned correctly ;). It was very enjoyable to watch her react to stimuli that she couldn’t see or hear coming.
