What name would you like your interview to appear as? (we are always highly discreet!)

Naughtia Le Fleur, aka "The Flower of BDSM" and "The Princess of Pain"

Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

In vanilla life I am a designer, fabricator, and maintain a bondage furniture business as well. I am a dancer, a performer, and a lifestyle kinkster. I co-host and am hostess for lifestyle events.

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

I realized I like to be tied up and tied myself at a very young age, around the time I turned 8, but then as soon as I hit puberty I realized how big of a component of life that was. I sought the lifestyle as soon as I was able to go out and about, haven't looked back since.

How you best describe yourself and why? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.

So I'm a bit difficult to categorize, I am a lifestyle slave, but in play I am a Switch. I am a rigger and rope bunny, Top and bottom, Extreme masochist and Sadist, my default role and highest degree of enjoyment is definitely in the bottom vein though.

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)

Very much both! I feel the emotional desire is the fuse that lights the explosion of physical desire. Just like any explosion one is basically useless without the other. I've often performed as a rigger and Shibari artist when not in the same emotional state that it takes for me to best enjoy bondage or S&M, but sometimes after the first few actions happen the emotional state improves to match the physical.

What does BDSM mean to you: is it a lifestyle, a diversion, or something else?

A lifestyle, pure and simple. I would be a shell of a person without it. I pattern all else in my life around BDSM

Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?

Within recent history, yes. I have sought and continue to seek relationships purely within the lifestyle.

Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.

My first bona fide experience was after finding a lifestyle event. I was super nervous, but had entered into scene negotiations with a D/s couple, who did co-Topping and rigging. They had me wrapped up pretty quickly and I was in a chest harness before I knew it. The bondage went more restrictive and more restrictive until I realized I couldn't move at all! I relished in my position for quite a while, then they allowed me to wear the chest harness for the rest of the event. A wonderful introduction that I have mirrored many times since so I could introduce others who may be interested into the lifestyle.

What was your best bondage experience?

As a pure bondage (sans S&M) scene my best is always the next one, I love the aspect of anticipation and planning and seeing how it develops through the course of the scene. My favorite scenes involve heavy restraint, especially locking restraints as they add to the inescapable feeling of the scene.

What is the most creative safe word you have ever used?

Most times I am gagged during scenes, so Mmmmmmppphhh becomes really common, regardless of context, so hand signals are used as safe phrases. The few times I have scened without a gag though, the most creative was with a Top who had a propensity for gambling, he said he wanted me to use "seven seven seven" as a safe phrase, signaling he had hit the jackpot of taking me to my limit. We never got there, by the way, but it was established.

What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?

The giving of the bottom their freedom to the Top(s). The Top(s) then using that for their pleasure and the pleasure of the bottom.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

Find someone into what you are seeking in real life, munches, parties, events, be social and ask questions. Online is great, and gives you a ton of information, but it is no substitute for sharing real-world experience and having questions answered in person. You might just find a scene partner that way!

What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from sub-shop.com and why?

As a bottom, for partner bondage or as a precursor to an S&M scene I love my obedience trainer harness! Pinning my arms to the small of my back and removing any movement thereof is a great way to start the journey into subspace. As a Top, my favorite is a toss-up, clover nipple clamps and my 20-speeed magic wand, both are such amazing toys to excite a bondage scene or bridge into an S&M scene.

What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?

At this point I've pretty much been there, done that, and have the kinky T-shirt, but, since I am a big fan of the "next" scene, I'd love to try about anything again! My heart is definitely into edge masochism scenes, so those would probably be the source of the most excitement when I begin to plan the next one.

If you had to be trapped in a tv show for a month, which would you choose and why?

A month in a TV show...probably Doctor Who, traveling to distant planets and spreading my kinkiness universally. Besides, a Dalek seems like it'd make a good Sadist ;)

Is there anything else you would like to share with us such as advice, thoughts or a silly knock-knock jokes? We are all ears and ball gags.

The BDSM lifestyle has literally been THE driving force in my life for years and I am always so appreciative of those who have shared an experience with me, and humbled by those who have asked me to do the same for them!
