Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

As I have my morning coffee, I check my e-mail and watch morning news. I take care of the house while everybody goes to work and school.

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

Watching TV when I was about 5, I saw a woman bound and gagged and I got aroused. It took me a number of years after that to learn this was a sexual activity.

How you best describe yourself and why? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.

I am naturally Dominant, so I'd say I am a Dominant. I don't display an over-powering persona when I play. Several women I played with were natural Dominants as well. They preferred to take the Submissive role to escape themselves for a short time.

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)

For me, it's physical. I do my best to leave emotion at the door when I play, unless we are role-playing.

Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?

Some were. If I only see a woman occasionally, I don't bring it up. I prefer to bring it up if I move into a long-term relation with her.

Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.

My first time was with my wife after we were married. I was still pretty young {Early 20s}. We were talking about our sexual interests in a general discussion and I brought up my interest in bondage. Got her interested, but as we played, it didn't turn her on. So we didn't do it after that.

What was your best bondage experience?

I met a woman and as we progressed in our relationship, she announced to me she was into being tied up for sex. I almost drove us off an on-ramp getting onto the freeway. We were together for 3 years and we played almost everyday after she came home from work.

What is the most creative safeword you have ever used?

Safeword? What's that? LOL. I've never had to use one before. I don't play that hard. At least, not yet.

What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?

Safety in how you tie someone. Not too tight, not too loose, so they can slip out. Some women like it tight so they cannot escape, but not so tight limbs go numb.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

Be creative, be attentive to your partner and have fun.

What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from sub-shop.com and why?

Gags. I love the look of a good gag on my play partner.

What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?
