Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?
Well, I work full-time in an office and am also a full-time student pursuing my second degree in Environmental Engineering (a real tree hugger I am). I'm in two bands that play 1-2 times/month, and I have an AWESOME wife that I just married about 6 months ago.
When did you first realize you were into bondage?
This may sound a little strange, but I can remember being exceptionally interested in seeing DIDs ever since I was 12 years old (I think it was Buffy the Vampire Slayer actually haha). I have no clue as to why that is, but it leads me to believe that many of us BDSM folk are somehow genetically predisposed to have an interest in the kinky life, which is just grand!
How you best describe yourself and why? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.
I'm definitely a dominant. Very rarely am I submissive, but that's only when my wife is in an interesting mood haha.
Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)
For me bondage is roughly 60/40 physical/emotional respectively. I love the look of a woman that is restrained and sometimes (actually, USUALLY) unable to speak, but I also really appreciate the fact that she trusts me enough to let me do those things.
Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?
Truthfully, I only had a few women that I tried bondage with. I was a bit of a late-bloomer sexually, and at first I didn't want to potentially scare off girls that I really liked, so I never proposed the idea until I was in my mid-twenties. After that, I DID test the waters a bit with basic stuff like scarves and blindfolds, and they were mostly receptive to it. Some even really liked it (they had never given it a chance before). My wife was the same way when I first met her, but now she is into it a little more, and because we are so connected we get to try all sorts of fun/new things!
Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.
In high school my girlfriend at the time and I were watching TV when some DID situation happened to come on. I mentioned to her how hot I thought tied up girls were, so the next time she came over she brought some hand-cuffs and we fooled around a bit. However, as I said before I was a late-bloomer sexually, so that really only entailed making out and feeling up. My first TRUE bondage experience was about six years ago with a friend of mine that I ran into after playing a show in my hometown. She happened to go to the same college I did, so I told her she ought to come try some of my tea (I meant that literally haha, we both really liked unique teas). Anyway, we had some tea, but we of course quickly switched to wine. Before I could really fully comprehend the situation, we were tearing each other’s clothes off and saying what we wanted to do to each other. We rushed into my bedroom and started going at it pretty hard. I slipped one of my ties over her eyes and teased her until she practically pushed me "down there". After I had gotten her off I asked her to keep the blindfold on, get on top, and hold her hands behind her back (unfortunately I didn't have any rope or anything like that) and stay that way while it was MY turn. What a great night that was!
What was your best bondage experience?
About a year ago, I reminded my fiancée that I would be home late that night because of a show I was playing. She said, "Ok, I'll probably be asleep when you get back." That was normal because I'm usually not home until 2:00-3:00AM on show nights. Anyway, as I pulled into the driveway I noticed that the bedroom light is on. I walked in the door and heard nothing, usually she greets me. As I turned the corner to look into our bedroom I see pretty much the BEST thing I could have hoped to see. There she was, lying on the bed in black lingerie and high heels AND she'd already gagged herself with a red, chin-strap ballgag. As if that weren't already great enough, she set out two lengths of rope (as well as a couple other things) for us to play with. That was an AMAZING night!
What is the most creative safeword you have ever used?
Honestly, I've never used a safeword. I would love to get into some roleplay, but my wife gets very giggly when I try it, so it's never really gotten that far haha. However, I doubt I would ever really do anything extreme enough to merit the use of a safeword anyway. Simple ties and gags are plenty for me! Although, if we did choose one it would probably be something really nerdy like "Vader", "Yoda", or "Cloud" (Cloud is a FF7 reference just in case y'all are unsure of where that one came from, I'm not crazy into meteorology haha.)
What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from sub-shop.com and why?
As far as gear is concerned it's hard to beat a great ballgag, but I also really like the fantasy tape because it's relatively quick and it looks incredible! I also like to sometimes use it as a cleave gag because it gives a "rushed" illusion. My favorite lingerie items are easily a corset and, they just perfectly accentuate the beauty of a female body. Oh, and the latex stockings are also fantastic! It's hard to choose just one thing, there's just too much great stuff!
What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?
I would really like to try a kidnapping fantasy, but as I said before it would be tough since my wife isn't exactly the best actress haha. However, if we were able to stay semi-serious I think it would be a lot of fun to show up to the house and just start tying her up and having my way with her.

I can only remember one, and it's so bad! It's that "orange you glad I didn't say banana one". I decided to look one up, so that I'm able to offer a far more satisfying knock-knock joke (especially for any perfectionist grammar folks out there).
