Meet Slave to Fashion

Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

I'm average (laughs). Specifically, I'm just a hard-working, fun-loving individual with unique tastes and a deep thinker. I'm currently not in any particular relationship with anyone - though I'm looking to change that, hopefully - so I suppose you can call my official position, single-submissive. As for my 'everyday vanilla life,' I never really enjoyed that flavor simply for the fact that it's too plain (laughs). I prefer something different and fun, which is why I lean towards the exotic and imaginative end of the spectrum. Currently it's fairly low-key though. Mainly private and within my own expectations without 'yet' involving anyone else.

It's not to say I don't want to involve anyone else in such a fascinating and exploratory lifestyle. It's just, I have yet to work up the courage to branch out socially with others. I suppose there are varying degrees of bashfulness and indecisiveness involved in the decision-making process as well. Though, that can all change at the drop of a hat in my experience. I'm one for always keeping an open mind towards such things. Open minds are like open doors.

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

I like to say, "the things I like are more than a mere addiction, they are a definition and a distinction." But, probably routinely browsing the internet randomly searching for things that pique my curiosity. You see, in the back of my mind there is a voice telling me to crave the bizarre; at least fetish-wise. I browsed images of hardcore situations like mummification, many forms of bondage, rubber, etc. For the most part, that was the realm I desired to explore simply because it's the only thing that honestly arouses me. It's simple yet inventive, perhaps in the power distribution, but I believe a fetish is a lot like how dreams operate: dreams are a manifestation of a myriad of things stemming from stimuli we're exposed to constantly in our daily life.

Within the dream world you can do anything you want. But there really isn't any control over it. Therein likes the commonality linking the two, I suppose: fantasy and a lack of control. I find it exciting to see where such things lead me. Even if it involves a little pain, or however much it takes to reach the edge: no pain, no gain.

How you best describe yourself and why?  Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.

Purely submissive. It's just in my nature and you can't fight your own nature.

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional?  (please elaborate)

Perhaps a little bit of both. Possibly spiritual, as I consider myself a spiritualist, in a sense. I believe that whenever you do something it's not so much for the physical side of being. It's more for the intangible elements and aspects of an individual. Once something is done in a physical sense it simply ceases to be no matter the method or action one takes to prolong it. Desire is all in the mind, as are addictive tendencies. We're simply going through the motions by bringing it forth into reality - physically. The more intense the feeling, thought, desire, urge, the more intense the impact it will have. At least, in theory.

Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.

I was with a friend of mine at the time and we were looking into something to do, outside the realm of normalcy in terms of an adult experience. I suggested bondage (laughs) and yes, it was entirely on a whim. How whimsical. We drove around and visited various establishments looking for certain advertisements that catered to our unusual demands. Mind you, I was still living in IL at the time - currently living in TX at the moment - and look and behold, I found a Chicago dungeon. My friend made all the arrangements with its proprietor and we settled on a simple, albeit 'brief' first-time session with a mistress each.

I forgot how long we stayed. I believe it was for either 2 or 3 hours apiece. Far too short, in my experience. Time flies when you're having fun, unfortunately.

Everything was as lavish as it was attractive and stimulating. The rates were fairly affordable. Everyone was very pleasant, professional, and just a joy to be around (oddly enough). Since my tastes differed from my friends we each had our own way of going about our first experience: him being more of the dominant-type, he chose that route, I chose the latter obviously. I can only speak for myself since I don't know the details of what my friend experienced. But, in a nutshell, it was a basic interview process outlining fetishes that were to be covered in your session, if you saw fit. I have to admit, the selection was very broad. Options are essential, in my opinion. From there, well, I'll leave it to your imagination. I mainly focused on bondage.

Essentially, we left the same way we came in: hungry for more (laughs).

What was your best bondage experience?

Probably that experience, being my first time and all. I definitely made sure to try new things. A few sessions later I wanted to increase the voltage on the electric chair (try my hand at something more fun and intense). Jokingly, it was almost like I had Stockholm Syndrome, how quickly I had come to associate with my captors.

What is the most creative safeword you have ever used?

Ironically, I rarely used them. There was such a mutual respect between myself and the mistresses I've seen over the course of time that I simply downplayed its practical use. I'd love to use this one though: MORE

What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?

Know your limits. If you know you have limits, operate within them. If you feel like your limits are just another form of restriction - pun-intended - explore them to see where they lead. The only way you're ever going to get anywhere is by going. If you do something enough it will eventually become second nature. I for one, love sensory deprivation. You have no idea what kind of person you become when you're cut off from everything. Conversely, this is where you learn a lot about yourself.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

Fear is the mind-killer. Start simple and work your way up, if that's how you feel. Ultimately, make certain it's what you and/or your partner truly want for yourselves. BDSM has so, so many avenues just waiting for people to walk down.

What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from and why?

Aww! Do I have to pick only one? T_T I guess that means I've visited your online store a bit too much xD I don't want to pick a favorite *pouts* I love them all equally. _. But, for the sake of the argument, I'd have to say my leg binders <3 those work, so, so well it sends shivers up my spinal column. For one, they accent my other toys quite well whenever I use them during play. I also love how stiff and rigid they make me feel, as if I'm placing them into plaster casts. Casting, there's a thought.

What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?

Well, financially I'm quite limited. But I've always wanted to try being a slave. You know, just to see what the experience is like; depending on the master/mistress, as well as the environment. You only live once, right? I also want to try my hand at casting which I came close to doing once, but it fell through miserably, or intense rubber bondage. Sadly, those things are kind out of my league in terms of them realistically happening. I suppose the latter is something I could potentially do. For another time though. Sorry if I listed more than one. I have quite the active mind and my list of fantasies is kind of endless.

What’s your favorite knock-knock joke?

I just made this up on the spot:

Knock, knock!

Who's there?

BDSMY? What's the Y stand for?

Why not?
