Meet Tam

Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

I am a Lighting Designer for Live Theatre in my local city. I design and operate the equipment for various shows such as Dance Recitals, Music Recitals, Concerts, School and community plays and the like! I’ve been in this line of work for 15+ years (professionally for 10) I love what I do and get to see many fun events and meet lots of interesting people!

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

I believe I started poking a mild interest in bondage by about Jr High school, but at the time didn't really associate or realize it was a thing or it was "bondage" I liked the idea of being wrapped in saran wrap or restrained in some way. It wasn't until I really started poking the internet I saw OTHERS had similar interests and it was called "bondage" and it was not horribly uncommon. I found story sites one that doesn't exist any more was where I saw an add years ago for "The rainbow of bondage" witch led me to Autumns first Sub-Shop and I soon found myself starting my growing collection from there!

How you best describe yourself and why?  Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.

While Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn would be super fun and silly to put myself in, I do believe I classify myself simply as a Submissive! In a more in depth definition I consider myself a Latex Doll. I LOVE latex and being encased in it; some of my favorite play is Doll play, where I only move if I am moved by another like a Doll does. While being bound into a Doll box or such has physical bondage aspects, of course it’s also a very strong mental bondage, as I can’t move even if nothing is actually holding me.

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional?  (please elaborate)

I believe my desire for bondage requires both physical and emotional. If I just run off an emotional point, while in Doll play I sometimes do, it just creates a longing to actually be held. If I only have the physical aspect that sometimes ends up just feeling like a nuisance if I'm cheaply bound but there's no feeling behind it. I think they have to go hand in hand and thus far I’ve had a good amount of luck with that!

Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?

I’ve been in quite a few Relationships over the years. I’ve had every reaction from "oh your into bondage, eh that's nice" to "That's a good little Bunny, Ill be sure to tie you up all the time!" Much of the reason I'm not with some people is due to the former in either a lack of similar interests or hollow promises and no desire to actually play.

Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.

I think like most people my first Experience was self bondage. I put on a Cheerleader outfit I got from a friend who was in my same High school at the time and tied myself up like I seen online with one of Autumn’s Ball Gags in my mouth! My first partnered Bondage session was in one of my relationships my partner at the time; knowing some of the things I liked, encased me from the neck down in saran wrap cling film. I stayed like that for a number of hours with my wand tucked between my legs… it was rather enjoyable!

What was your best bondage experience?

One of my best Bondage experiences was more recently. I’ve helped a friend discover the joys of Bondage and happened to be in the process tp unlock her desire to participate in Messy play or WAM. So I found myself one night after some planning sitting in a inflated kiddy pool bound with bondage tape and blindfolded while I became her messy canvas and she poured all mannerism of chocolate, marshmallow fluff, whipped cream, and other tasty goodies all over me!

What is the most creative safeword you have ever used?

My most creative safeword is actually my only and current on: "Crayon" I don’t remember where It came from what made me think of it but being a word I would normally never say in the context it works out nicely!

What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?

I feel the most important part of Bondage is the Stress relief. Especially in my Dolly Play Sessions I find my mind drifting off to nothingness. Dolls don’t think, they don’t worry, they don’t have insurance bills to pay or work to go to and such.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

The same advice I gave my best friend just starting out. "Rule #1, The Submissive is in charge!" For me it’s VERY clear to define that. BDSM and bondage get a REALLY bad rap for the whole Master/Slave Attitudes but really the sub IS a sub cause they are giving that power to the Dom.

What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from and why?

Oh my gosh my favorite toy from Sub-Shop? I have to pick just one!? Hehehe! Well I'm going to say my Pink Heart stuffed gag from the original store! To date its still one of my favorite gags that I can wear FOREVER! Its pink, its cute, its durable, its effective as a gag, and you can nom and chew on it all you want so your jaw gets some flex to it making it a much easier wear!

What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?

I think one of the biggest fantasies I’ve yet to try but would like to, would be to go to a Con, covered head to toe in latex, bound, gagged, and blindfolded, and led around on a leash by my Dominant while Strangers are allowed to touch my smooth latex body.

Is there anything else you would like to share with us such as advice, thoughts or more knock-knock jokes?  We are all ears and ball gags.

Other thoughts? Don't let any one shame you. You’re not wrong, you’re not evil, and you’re not bad. It’s okay to be kinky as long as you are not hurting anyone!

Sorry, but Autumn's all tied up at the moment and you can't take her with you.
We need her here!
