Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?

I believe it's safe to say I don't have a vanilla life. To start, I am polyamorous; with multiple girlfriends, and somehow even more subs. My mornings begin by lavishing them with attention, and caring for their concerns and needs as best as I can before work. At work, all of my co-workers and boss know I don't live a vanilla life. It's lead to some interesting conversations at times, but mostly it's business as usual and I come home to resume care of my “harem” (their word, I just let them have this one).

When did you first realize you were into bondage?

Probably way, way too young, if we're being honest. I didn't know what bondage was properly until I was a teenager, but having watched a lot of sci-fi shows and campy movies growing up, there were an awful lot of women in collars with leashes. I was too young to fully understand this at the time, but looking back, that was definitely the first step.

How you best describe yourself? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or FuzzyRainbow Unicorn. Please explain your choice.

Dominant. I don't really seek dominance over people; more of a live and let live type. But somehow, I keep seeming to find women that just like to do as I say, and let me have fun pleasuring their bodies. I don't really have an explanation for it, just that people seem to be comfortable with me as your domme.

Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)

I get a bit from both, actually. The physical side of it; sometimes it just plains look hot. There's an appeal in the aesthetic of my partners being bound up; especially as their bodies get excited and they start to squirm or tense in anticipation. Then there's the emotional side of it. I do not get any pleasure from being bound up myself; finding it mostly just irritating. However, I do get a touch of vicarious pleasure when my girls are enjoying it. That's not really explainable as a physical thing, so I'd say it falls under emotional.

What does BDSM mean to you: is it a lifestyle, a diversion, or something else?

BDSM is whatever you put into it. For me, it's become a lifestyle, but it started as a mild interest. I took the time to do research, and read up on it. I talked with people about their own experiences. Then one day, it sorts of hardcore fell into my lap, and became a staple of my everyday life. It's helped me build connections with people that I don't believe I ever could have otherwise, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

Kitchen Counter, Couch, or on top of the dryer?

I mean, if I have to choose from those three, I have a very versatile couch that's just plain difficult to beat. But if I were to say my favorite place I ever have, and would love to do again? Front pew of a church mid-sermon, closely followed by the Botanical Gardens I sometimes visit.

Can you describe your first bondage experience?

So firstly, teenagers. Girlfriend decides to try handcuffing me to the bed so I won't play with her while she focuses on getting me off. Supposed to have the place to ourselves for the next five hours. She gets started, and suddenly we hear a truck pull up into the driveway. She freaks, as is probably expected and scrambles to get the key. In doing so though, she somehow manages to have me end up sliding off the edge of the bed. We heard the front door unlock, she's lost the key, and we were pretty much doomed. Luckily, I managed to click the lock with a bobby pin and barely managed to hide in time.

What was your best bondage experience?

Not too heavy on the actual bondage aspect, but girlfriend wore a collar, and a leash, and a pretty little dress while I held the remote of her wireless vibrator, the handle of her leash, and we walked through Times Square.

Is there a particular food you would like to use during a sexual experience?

Honey. No real particularly explanation here; I just love honey and enjoy licking it off bodies.

It's not necessary for me to orgasm at all. My partners, however, I don't stop until they've had enough orgasms that they can't move after.

Which part of your body do you consider the most sexy?

Maybe cheating, but my mind. Believe me, it's no aspect of my body that's allowed me to win people over.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?

Do your research. There is nothing wrong with learning from the experiences of other people, and it can help you avoid a lot of pain, and frustration; especially since you're just starting out. Porn is not a great reference, though.

What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from Sub-Shop.com and why?

Custom collars. Nicknames are important to me, and giving them to my girls is pretty prevalent. As such, it's nice to be able to find collars that are custom, without completely breaking the bank. Even if I haven't gotten all of them yet, it's allowed me to plan ahead.
